Follow the journey of Gran Shelt Kingdom knights Rain and Lasswell, childhood friends and rivals. During an airship patrol, they encounter a shooting star and a mysterious Crystal-born girl, Fina, who entrusts them with a wish. Their quest leads them to the Temple of the Earth, where they confront Velius of the Darkness, a powerful foe intent on destroying the Earth Crystal.

Rain's immense power leads to the crystal's destruction, setting them on a path to protect the remaining crystals. Their adventure unfolds across various lands, where they meet unique individuals: Lido, a flying boat inventor; Nikoru, a water city warlord; Jake, an anti-government rebel leader; and Sakura, a 700-year-old sage. They also encounter Majin Fina, a version of Fina with no memory.

Rain and Lasswell, aided by their allies, battle Velius and the forces of darkness, uncovering the truth behind Velius's motives and Rain's long-lost father, Regen. Velius's ultimate goal is the destruction of all crystals and the world itself.
