StopotS is a popular categories game, also known as Scattergories, "City Country River," or simply Stop.
To begin, select your categories—for example, Names, Animals, Objects, and more. Once chosen, a random letter is revealed, starting a new round. Each player must fill every category with a word beginning with that letter. The first to complete all categories shouts "STOP!" The game then immediately halts all other players. Players collaboratively review answers, awarding 10 points for correct answers, 5 points for duplicates, and zero for incorrect entries. This continues until the pre-determined number of rounds is complete.
