The Renault Triber facelift has been spotted testing with a slew of new styling changes for the front end. Going by the insights that the brand had revealed earlier both the Kiger as well as the Triber are due for a facelift later in 2025. A new test mule that has been spotted would have a slew of design tweaks.
2025 Renault Triber Facelift Exterior and Interior Design
A combination of recent test mule sightings have revealed the Triber test mule up close. The new facelifted version of the MPV would get reshaped headlights with a sleek LED strip on the upper edge. Since Nissan has been planning a new MPV as well, it’s possible that the same changes would continue to the 7 seater Nissan MPV as well.
Other noticeable changes included a reshaped front bumper with a much larger air dam, a new grill design and new LED signature accents in the headlamps and the tail lamps.

Interior Changes
The New Triber facelift is expected to have an all-new dashboard with mild tweaks, lighter shades, more soft touch materials and expanded feature list. The powertrain would be the same form the previous version: a 1.0 litre naturally aspirated three cylinder petrol unit that generates close to 72 Hp and 96 Nm of torque. Gearbox options would most likely be the same as that of the 5 speed manual and 5 speed AMT.
Other Launches from Renault/ Nissan
Renault Duster
A recent update regarding the Renault Duster has revealed that the Duster Hybrid is all set to launch in early 2026. The Bigster, which would be a 7-seater variant of the same vehicle would be revealed within the 6 to12 months after the Duster’s launch. Media Reports have also revealed that the car might be powered by a strong Hybrid Powertrain.
New Renault Duster Hybrid Launch Timeline
The production of the new Renault Duster would begin at the Renault Nissan’s Chennai plant, the latest inputs have revealed that Duster’s launch is expected in early 2026. The car would be launched with Petrol Engine only, Renault has further revealed to Autocar that the Duster would have Turbo-petrol options as well. The car would now be equipped with turbo petrol engine options as well. Hybrid variants are expected to arrive within 6-12 months of their initial launches.
Globally, the car is available with a 94Hp, 1.6 Liter Four-Cylinder Petrol Engine paired with two electric motors. The total output of the whole system would be around 140Hp. Beyond that, the larger Bigster gets a 155Hp of total output from a 108 Hp petrol engine combined with a 51Hp Motor. The details about which Hybrid system would be brought to India are still pretty scarce.
All New Renault Kwid, Dacia Spring
Renault India has been planning to emerge from their current state of stupor and revamp their lineup . The brand has been selling the Kwid, Triber, and Kiger until now, but soon it seems that the brand will be incorporating a new Duster and a EV hatchback that has been seen testing a few times.
The spotted vehicle is being dubbed as the new Kwid EV, which has been spotted testing ever since 2024. Last time we saw a Kwid EV being tested, it was on the back of a flat bed, but this time around a new spotting that has been reported by Rushlane witnessed the vehicle rolling out.
The vehicle was spotted somewhere in Tamil Nadu going by the temporary number plates that was on the vehicle, Nissan and Renault operate from Tamil Nadu. The Renault Kwid looks similar to that of the Dacia Spring EV that is on sale in the global markets.
Even if the Dacia spring is badge-engineered and sold off as the Kwid in India it would be powered by the same 26.8 kWh battery pack promising 220 km on a single charge or it could come up with an Indian version of the same vehicle with localized components for a cost effective price.
