Shortly after the launch of the all new Toyota Fortuner Mild Hybrid variants, Toyota has changed its lineup and increased the prices of new existing models by upto Rs 68,000. The Price hike has affected Petrol, and Diesel Fortuner variants that also include Legender Variants. Toyota has brought the number of models down from 11 to 9. Now the brand has discontinued the Diesel 4×4 variants. The prices for the sole Fortuner Petrol variant have increased by Rs 68,000 while all other diesel variants are witnessing a price hike of Rs 40,000.
The Hybrid Fortuner variants cost nearly Rs 2 lakh more than the Diesel 4×4 At variants that they effectively replace. Along with the fuel saving start -stop function these mild Hybrid variants are also equipped with a 360 Degree camera, a wireless smartphone charger and terrain modes- the Terrain modes would include Mud, Sand, Rock Dirt and Snow.
Toyota has stopped further and taken away the ventilated front seats available in the standard Fortuner. The Mild Hybrid variants would not get ventilated seats anymore.
