A Media organisation ‘Associated Times’ shared the news. The organisation focuses on the Caribbean region. However, Indian officials did not corroborate the report.

It is cited in the report that Choksi submitted fabricated and misleading documents. He had also hidden his identity and told that he was a resident of India and Antigua. According to reports, he is planning to move to Switzerland where he wants to receive treatment for cancer. Choksi and Nirav Modi allegedly defrauded the bank of more than Rs 14000 crore.
