Daytime temperatures are expected to range between 31°C and 34°C. The morning and forenoon hours will see active thundercloud development, bringing brief yet intense spells of rain. While the weather will be mostly cool, relative humidity is likely to remain high, creating a muggy atmosphere. A humidity level of 100 per cent has been predicted for today.

Forecast For This Week

According to the IMD, Delhi will witness intermittent rain, dense cloud cover, and occasional thunderstorms over the next few days. The sky is expected to remain generally cloudy throughout the week. Residents can expect light to moderate rainfall, accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning, with daytime temperatures ranging between 32°C and 35°C until July 12. This rainfall is part of the monsoon system currently active over northern India, bringing moisture-laden winds and intermittent showers across the region.

While the rain and drop in maximum temperatures offer a break from intense heat, residents are advised to exercise caution during thunderstorms. They should avoid sheltering under trees, stay indoors during lightning, and remain alert for waterlogging in low-lying areas.
