Security agencies are now strictly interrogating suspected Pakistani spy Shakoor Khan, who was caught in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. It is alleged that he kept sending sensitive information to his masters in Pakistan while working as a government employee in an important position for years. Under the guise of government meetings, he used to reach the border area and leak strategic information, including military activities. In return, he kept receiving huge amounts of money from Pakistan.

This spy network spread in the backdrop of the desert started from a small village in Jaisalmer, and now it has become a matter of great concern for national security. Shakoor Khan, who was once the trusted private secretary of a former minister, has now been arrested on serious charges of treason and espionage. As soon as his name came to light, there was a stir in the political corridors from Jaisalmer to Jaipur.
According to sources, Shakoor not only learned political manipulation but also worked to gather intelligence for Pakistani agencies. He has also sent information about strategically very important areas like Pokhran, Mahajan, and Chandan to Pakistan. The special thing is that his village is located just a few kilometers away from the Air Force’s Chandan Airbase.
Investigation has revealed that Shakoor went to Pakistan seven times in the last few years and went to meet his alleged relatives in areas like Rahim Yar Khan, Sukkur, and Ghotki. But the agencies suspect that there was some other agenda hidden behind these visits.
It has also come to light that he was in contact with the Pakistan Embassy in India and talked to many suspicious Pakistani numbers. During the investigation of mobile data, it was found that he had deleted many important documents, which are now being tried to recover.
The links of the case are also being connected to the recently arrested female spy Jyoti Malhotra, due to which the possibility of a large network of Shakoor being exposed has increased.
This possible nexus of politics and espionage has alerted the security agencies. Shakoor has been very close to former minister Shaale Mohammad and went to the border areas with the minister many times, so that he could collect sensitive information.
Apart from this, he was also associated with the employment department, where he is suspected of collecting information about military activities from the people of border villages on the pretext of giving them employment. The investigating agencies are now also investigating the bank accounts of Shakoor and his family to find out where and how he used to get funding. So far, three of his bank accounts have been found.
At present, Shakoor has been brought to Jaipur and is being questioned intensively, and legal action will be taken after getting evidence. If Shakoor’s direct contact with Pakistani agencies is confirmed, then this could prove to be the biggest espionage racket ever in Rajasthan.
