From 10.30 am to 1.30 pm, candidates showed up for the exam. Students had three hours to complete the chemistry exam’s 70 marks worth of questions.

Class 12 Chemistry Exam 2023: Paper Review

There were a variety of responses to the exam, and the majority of candidates judged it simple to moderate. As per the students, nothing was asked outside of the syllabus; the questions were simple. The majority of the questions were typical in terms of complexity, however, a few number questions tested students’ analytical skills.

As per the experts, the exam’s section A, which consists of multiple-choice questions, was the most scoring for the students. 

Questions asked in the Chemistry exam

A total of 70 points could be earned in the five areas of the CBSE class 12 chemistry test. The exam was to be finished in three hours by the candidates. Moreover, candidates had 15 minutes to peruse the question paper.

  • Section A – 18 multiple choice questions of 1 mark each.
  • Section B – 7 very short answer questions holding 2 marks each.
  • Section C – 5 short answer questions with a weightage of 3 marks each.
  • Section D – 2 case-based questions having 4 marks each.
  • Section E – 3 long answer questions carrying 5 marks each.
