While all the colleges under Delhi University offer excellent quality education, some colleges have emerged as the most preferred choices among the candidates.

Leading the college selection preferences is Kirori Mal College, situated in North Campus, with an impressive 1,61,533 candidates opting for this institution. Following closely behind is Hindu College, which secured the second spot, attracting 158,548 students. Meanwhile, Hansraj College secured the third position with 157,162 registrations.

  6. Dyal Singh College – 141,675 candidates registered
  7. Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College – 136,349 candidates registered
  8. Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College – 135,773 candidates registered
  9. Delhi College of Arts and Commerce – 127,633 candidates registered
  10. Ramanujan College – 127,113 candidates registered

Moreover, other colleges that have garnered significant interest include Ramjas College with 1,56,068 registrations, Sri Venkateswara College with 1,54,375 registrations, Dyal Singh College with 1,41,675 registrations, Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College with 1,36,349 registrations, Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College with 1,35,773 registrations, Delhi College of Arts and Commerce with 1,27,633 registrations, and Ramanujan College with 1,27,113 registrations.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has the highest number of applicants for DU Admission 2023, with a significant count of 1,98,490 students. Following CBSE, the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations and the Bihar School Examination Board have secured the second and third positions, with 9,413 and 7,880 applicants, respectively.
