GATE 2025 was conducted on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025, at the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee. The provisional answer keys were expected to be released soon. The GATE 2025 answer keys, question paper and candidates’ recorded responses will be available on gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
The GATE 2025 answer key will contain some vital and essential information, including the name of the examination, the organizing institute’s name, the paper code, exam date and shift, question numbers, right options, question types (MCQ, MSQ, NAT), and officially correct answers.
The candidates may use the GATE 2025 response sheet to estimate their expected scores. If an answer key is found to be incorrect, an objection can be raised by the candidates within the stipulated time. The objections will be reviewed by subject matter experts, and the final answer key will be put up later on after evaluation.
IIT Roorkee will release the GATE answer key on their official website. Candidates can check their answer key by following these steps as soon as it gets released:
Step 1: Visit the GATE official website at gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the GATE 2025 answer key download link.
Step 3: A login page will open now, enter your login credentials and submit the same.
Step 4: The answer key will appear on the screen.
Step 5: Check and download it.
The GATE 2025 result will be declared on 16 March. IIT Roorkee conducted the exam across 30 test papers. As per official notification, candidates could choose from amongst 30 subjects and apply for any two out of the set of available combinations specified on the official website.
On trend analysis based on the previous cut-off marks, 826,239 candidates had applied for GATE last year. Out of them, 653,292 appeared. Last year’s cut-off marks stood at:
Aerospace Engineering – 33.3
Computer Science and IT – 27.6
Chemistry – 25.2
Electrical Engineering – 25.7
Mathematics – 25
