As per the exam calendar released by SSC, the registration process will start from today, May 9 and will end on June 8, 2023. Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2023 Tier I will be held in July or August 2023.

Exam Date

As per the annual calendar, SSC CHSL exam 2023 for Tier 1 will be conducted in the month of July and August. Those who qualify Tier 1 exam will be eligible to appear in Tier 2 exam.

Tier 2 dates will be informed in due course. Admit cards for the same will be issued before 10-15 days from the date of the exam.

Aptitude

Through this recruitment, thousands of posts with the qualification level of 12th pass will be filled in various ministries, departments and organizations of the central government. Vacancies like LDC, Data Entry Operator, Junior Secretariat Assistant come out in this recruitment.

Lakhs of candidates take part in this recruitment every year. There were 32,35,474 applications for about 4,500 posts in SSC CHSL 2022 Recruitment. For some posts in the recruitment, the age limit will be 18 to 25 years and for some 18 to 27 years. SC and ST will get five years relaxation in the maximum age limit and OBC will get three years relaxation.

SSC CHSL 2023: How to apply

  • Visit the official site of SSC at ssc.nic.in
  • Click on the Apply Online link available at the top of the page.
  • A new page will open where candidates need to click on the CHSL link.
  • Enter the required details and click on login.
  • Fill the application form and pay the application fee.
  • Once done click on submit and download the page.
  • Keep a hard copy of the same with you for further need.

Application fee

The application fee is ₹100. Women candidates and Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) who are eligible for reservation are exempted from paying the fee.

Salary of various posts

Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/JSA Pay Level-2 to Rs.19,900-63,200 per month
For Data Entry Operator (DEO) Pay Level-4 to Rs 25,500-81,100 per month, while Pay Level-5 to Rs 29,200-92,300 per month.
