When Will UGC NET June 2025 Results Be Out? Check Expected Timeline

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon release the result of the UGC NET June 2025 exam on its official website ugcnet.nta.ac.in. The final answer key will also be uploaded along with the result. Candidates will be able to check their results when the link is activated by logging in with their application number, password/date of birth.

When To Expect UGC NET Result 2025 

As per the procedure of previous years, the final answer key and result are declared within about 2 to 4 weeks after the release of the preliminary answer key.

This year the provisional key was released on July 5 and objections were taken till July 8.

So, the result is likely to come in the third week of July.

What Is The Format Of UGC NET 2025 Exam?

The exam is conducted in Computer-Based Mode (CBT) and consists of two papers:

Paper I: General Knowledge and Teaching Aptitude (compulsory for all)

Paper II: Subject chosen by the candidate

Both papers are objective type (MCQs).

Marking Scheme

2 marks for each correct answer

No negative marking

If a question is found invalid, full marks will be given to all who solve it

This Time The Exam Was Conducted In 83 Subjects, Including:

Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Urdu, Kannada, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Assamese, Marathi, Gujarati, French, Arabic, Chinese, Spanish, Russian, Library Science, Journalism, Labour Welfare etc.

Who Can Participate In The UGC NET exam?

This exam ensures eligibility for the following posts:

Assistant Professor

Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)

Eligibility: The candidate must have at least 55% marks (50% for reserved category) in a master’s degree from a recognized university.
