Miss Universe-turned-actor Sushmita Sen has been having the best time in Jaipur, where she is attending a friend’s wedding. She often treats her fans to videos from the event and her own pictures, which are nothing less than a treat. However, one of her recent posts did not receive the usual love from fans. Instead, Sushmita was heavily trolled for her look in that video, which sees her donning an embellished saree.
In the video, Sushmita is seen flaunting her multi-colored saree, which features patti borders and zardozi embroidery done beautifully. Sharing it on Instagram, she wrote, “Simply #yourstruly đ¶đđ»â€ïž Thank you for being a sweetheart @hairbydeepakthakur & for capturing this so beautifully!!! I love you guys!!!#duggadugga.”

Fans Slam Miss Universe
The video was later shared by a Reddit user on their page, with the title, ‘Why does her face look like an AI filter, or is it just makeup?’ The comment was a dig at her perfectly done makeup, which showcases her chiseled jawline, sharp eyebrows, purple lips, and nicely done hair, with not a single strand out of place.
This led to fans speculating that it was an AI filter that makes her look so “perfect” and “unreal.” The most shocking comments were those where netizens called Sushmita out for using unnatural ways to look beautiful and young.
One user commented, “They live under pressure of their own making, created by attention and fame. You and I will never look good for the screen, but at least we will look natural and good and feel good too. I almost take pity on yesteryears’ stars who reportedly starve themselves, undergo crazy surgeries just to look desirable till death, and have tons of mental health issues.”
Another user compared her to Rakhi Sawant for undergoing knife and looking plastic. “Doctors use the same template for everyone. Ab spot the difference between Rakhi, Sush, and Aish contest hona chahiye,” read the person’s comment, in which she compares her to Rakhi and Aishwarya Rai, who are also often criticized for undergoing surgeries and beauty treatments.
“Ageing gracefully is better than becoming a caricature version of yourself. I hope this reaches where it needs to,” read another comment.
