Dhanashree Verma, widely known for her choreography and social media presence, is reportedly all set to make her big screen debut with the Telugu film Akasam Daati Vastaava. According to The Hollywood Reporter India, this upcoming dance-centric project will be directed by Sri Sasi Kumar and bankrolled by famed producer Dil Raju, who has previously delivered hits like Varisu, HIT: The First Case, and Sankranthiki Vasthunam.
While the film’s cast detailshave not been revealed as of now but it promises to showcase fresh talent with Dhanashree at the forefront. A week earlier she took to Instagram to share her excitement over wrapping her first film.
The caption to her Instagram post read, “And it’s a wrap My first film my special one and this one’s for you Hyderabad The feeling of completing your first film HITS DIFFERENT so pumped, excited & nervous Had the best time with my super team & Dil Raju productions See you in the theatres Gods Plan (sic).”

Just weeks ago, Dhanashree made headlines for her divorce from Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal. The couple, who tied the knot in 2020, had been living separately for over a year before legally parting ways on March 20, 2025. Reports further revealed that as part of the mutual agreement, Chahal consented to pay ₹4.75 crore as permanent alimony to Dhanashree.
