Last year during Diwali, Shikhar shared some cute pictures that included Janhvi Kapoor and a couple of dogs. A user commented on his post saying, “Lekin tu toh Dalit hai (But, you’re a Dalit).” While Shikhar usually ignores negative comments, this time he decided to respond.
Shikhar’s Reaction
Upset by the comment, Shikhar took to his Instagram Story to call out the troll. He expressed his disappointment, saying that it was shocking that such “backward mindsets” still exist in 2025. He reminded the troll that Diwali is about “light, progress, and unity,” values that the troll clearly didn’t understand.
He wrote, “It’s honestly pathetic that in 2025, there are still people like you with such a small, backward mindset.” He added, “India’s strength has always been in its diversity and inclusivity, something you clearly fail to grasp. Maybe instead of spreading ignorance, you should focus on educating yourself, because right now, the only thing truly ‘untouchable’ here is your level of thinking.”
