Ranveer Singh has left his fans excited after announcing his next action movie ‘Dhurandhar’. It seems like Ranveer’s fans are in for a double treat as the actor is expected to appear in another big project. According to a report by Hindustan Times, Ranveer will next team up with Bobby Deol and will again go through an intense physical transformation.
Sharing the details about Ranveer Singh’s upcoming movie, a source told Hindustan Times, “Ranveer Singh and Bobby Deol are all set to come together for a mega project. Both actors will be undergoing intense physical transformations for this venture. They have been preparing for it over a long period.”
“After Ranbir Kapoor, now Bobby Deol is coming with Ranveer Singh. With such exceptionally talented stars joining forces, this is going to be a massive project,” the source added.

Ranveer Singh will soon be seen in ‘Dhurandhar’, which is an action-thriller film. Apart from Ranveer, the movie also stars Sara Arjun, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, and Arjun Rampal. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the movie will hit the theatres on December 5, 2025.
Ranveer was last seen in ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ with Alia Bhatt, Shabana Azmi and Dharmendra. ‘Dhurandhar’ will mark his first full-fledged role in over two years. He briefly made an appearance in ‘Singham Again’ in 2024 with Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Arjun Kapoor and Deepika Padukone.
He will also star in ‘Don 3’ but the movie has been delayed due to unknown reason. The movie will be directed by Farhan Akhtar. According to a source close to the development, the movie might release in theatres in 2026. A source told Subhash K Jha, “There’s been a delay, yes. But it couldn’t be helped. Ranveer Singh, who replaced Shah Rukh Khan in the franchise, had to face a surplus of trolling online for ‘daring’ to step into SRK’s shoes.”
“Farhan and Ranveer mutually decided to lie low to let the heat die down. He also needed time to prepare for the part as it requires special martial arts skills. After that, Kiara Advani, who was signed in place of Priyanka Chopra as the leading lady, got pregnant. Farhan had to halt the show on account of Kiara’s changed circumstances. Thirdly, Farhan got busy with his gruelling regime as an actor in the war film 120 Bahadur, where he plays Major Shaitan Singh. It is scheduled for release on November 21, 2025,” the source added.
