Netflix has finally returned with the deadly Squid Game Season 3 with the release of its first teaser on May 6. The teaser hints at a high-stakes battle that seems ore brutal than ever, as Seong Gi-Hun returns to seek revenge for the brutal deaths of his friends happened in last season.
In the teaser, Gi-Hun is seen being carried into a warehouse full of contestants, in a coffin. The contestants are brutally terrified by the bloodshed and are expected to join him in a fight against those responsible for the ruthless games.
Returning Players And What To Expect
Many familiar players including Myung-Gi, Yong-Sik, Geum-Ja, and Jun-Hee makes an appearance, though their fates seem uncertain. Hyun-Ju who once led the coop now returns in search of Dae-Ho, who is now collecting weapons.
The teaser also reveals the return of characters like detective Hwang Jun-Ho and the mysterious pink guard No-Eul. However, the fate of Front Man (In-Ho) and Gyeong-Seok remains unclear. Fans are in shock and confusion that what will be the role of them.
What Does The Teaser Reveal About Season 3?
Hwang Jun-Ho is seen checking the control room and No-Eul appears sneaking into the restricted area of the building. Meanwhile, the red-blue ball game pits players against each other with Gi-Hun leading one team.
The sound of cry of a baby near the end of the teaser only adds to the suspense, leaving fans on edge.
Confirmed Cast For Squid Game Season 3
Squid Game fans can look forward to the return of several beloved actors, including Lee Jung-Jae (Seong Gi-Hun), Lee Byung-Hun (the Front Man) and Wi Ha-Joon (Hwang Jun-Ho). New faces such as Im Si-Wan, Kang Ha-Neul and Park Sung-Hoon are also joining the cast, adding to the excitement for the new season.
