Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was the victim of a shocking knife attack at his residence in Bandra (West) on Thursday around 2:30 am. Initially, it was reported that an unknown individual had entered the actor’s home with the intent to steal. However, new details have emerged, revealing that Saif was involved in a confrontation with the intruder, which ultimately led to the violent assault.

According to a post by news agency ANI on X, “Late last night, an unknown person entered actor Saif Ali Khan’s residence and had an argument with his maid. When the actor intervened to calm the person down, he attacked Saif Ali Khan and injured him. The police are investigating the matter.”

Actor Undergoing Surgery
According to ANI’s post, an unknown person entered actor Saif Ali Khan’s residence. A scuffle broke out between the actor and the intruder. The actor was injured and is currently undergoing treatment. The investigation is ongoing. This statement was issued by the Mumbai Police.
The hospital confirmed that Saif Ali Khan was brought in at 3:30 am and sustained six injuries, two of which are deeper. One of the injuries is close to his spine. A team of medical professionals, including Neurosurgeon Dr. Nitin Dange, Cosmetic Surgeon Dr. Leena Jain, and Anaesthetist Dr. Nisha Gandhi, is performing surgery on him. The extent of his injuries will be determined after the surgery is complete, according to Niraj Uttamani, CEO of Lilavati Hospital.
