In a shocking incident, a 25-year-old techie killed a 33-year-old woman in Karnataka’s Bengaluru. The man is said to be the woman’s alleged lover. The incident took place on June 6 in a hotel room.
Police registered a case
The woman has been identified as Harini, while the accused has been identified as Yashas. Both were residents of Kenegeri, according to NDTV. The police have registered a case at the Subramanyapura Police Station.
The incident occurred in an OYO hotel room in Poorna Prajyat Layout.
Techie stabbed her 17 times
A senior police officer said the woman wanted to end her friendship with the man and tried to distance herself. The man, upset with the move, stabbed her to death. He stabbed her 17 times.
According to the report, Harini’s family came to know about her friendship, and Harini was facing issues in her family. She was the mother of two kids.
Man arrested for wife’s brutal murder
In April, a man was arrested by the Electronic City Police in Bengaluru after he allegedly murdered his wife on a deserted street in Pragathi Nagar.
The victim, identified as 35-year-old Sharda, was reportedly returning home from work when she was attacked and strangled by her husband, Krishna, around 8 PM near Big Toguru in the Electronic City area.
According to officials, Krishna was involved in an extramarital affair, which is believed to be a possible motive for the crime.
The brutal incident unfolded in full public view, and Krishna attempted to flee the scene after committing the crime. However, alert residents managed to apprehend him and promptly handed him over to the police.
