CBSE Announces Board Results For Class XII, 87.98% Students Pass In 2024, See Results Here

The results for the class 12 board exams of 2024 have been announced by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), with a pass percentage of 87.98%. Students can see their results on multiple official platforms including results.cbse.nic.in, cbse.gov.in, or cbseresults.nic.in.

Today, on May 13, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the results for the class 12 board exams of 2024, with a pass percentage of 87.98%. Initially, the announcement was anticipated after May 20, but it came earlier than expected. Students can access their results through various official platforms such as results.cbse.nic.in, cbse.gov.in, or cbseresults.nic.in. Additionally, they can also use the UMANG app, Digilocker app, Pariksha Sangam portal, or the SMS service.

The exams commenced on February 15, concluding for class 10 on March 13 and class 12 on April 2. To clear the exams, students need to secure a minimum of 33% marks. The class 10 results are yet to be declared. In 2023, the CBSE results were announced on May 12, whereas in 2022, it was on July 22, showcasing variations in the announcement dates over the years.

To check and download the CBSE 12th Result 2024, follow these steps:

1. Visit the Official Website: Open your browser and navigate to http://cbseresults.nic.in.

2. Click on the Relevant Link: Locate and select the link titled “Senior School Certificate Examination (Class XII) Results 2024”.

3. Enter Your Credentials: Input your roll number, school number, and admit card ID as provided on your admit card.

4. View Your Result: Upon entering the details, click the submit button to view your result displayed on the screen.

5. Download/Print: For future reference, download or print your result.

In case of high traffic on the website, students can access their results via SMS or the UMANG app. The CBSE has implemented measures to ensure efficient handling of increased website traffic today.

Girls Performed Better Than Boys

Trivandrum district achieved the highest result, while Prayagraj attained the lowest position. As in previous years, girls outperformed boys, with a pass rate of 91.52 percent for girls compared to 81.12 percent for boys. Girls surpassed boys by 6.40 percent.
