Sachdeva said, “By delving into an anonymous, unauthenticated video to create sensation and disrupt Delhi’s social fabric, MP Mahua Moitra and the Aam Aadmi Party tried to deflect from their internal issues, but people of Delhi will not tolerate such rhetoric… We went to CR Park to investigate this matter, but there were no disturbing elements there… I have requested Delhi Police to look into the matter.”

Earlier, Mahua Moitra posted a video on X in which she is seen accusing  BJP cadre of threatening fish-eating Bengalis of Chittaranjan Park in Delhi.

Mahua wrote on X, “Please watch saffron brigade BJP goons threaten fish-eating Bengalis of Chittaranjan Park, Delhi. Never in 60 years has this happened, residents say.”

“The  temple in CR park that BJP goons laying claim to was built by the non veg market vendors ! They pray there – the big pujas are held there. 3 months of a BJP govt in Delhi. Good anniversary present,” she said in another tweet.

Moitra also slammed Delhi Police for not taking action. She said on X, “Terrorising Hindu fishmongers into shutting legal shops next to a temple they built – BJP goons caught on video but not yet arrested. Hello @DelhiPolice – Or are we all supposed to eat dhoklas and chant Jai Shri Ram?”
