Delhi: Delhi is reeling under intense weather, with rain and thunderstorms over the past few weeks. The changes in weather condition have led to pleasant weather, bringing relief to residents from the heat. Rain accompanied by thunderstorm and gusty winds lashed the national capital on Sunday, June 1. The month started with a rainy day, and this week is likely to see more showers. Delhi is experiencing these changes due to an active western disturbance. A western disturbance, appearing as a cyclonic circulation, continues to prevail over north Pakistan, Jammu & Kashmir and north Punjab. This weather system is expected to influence the regional weather patterns in the coming days, bringing rainfall in northwest India including Delhi-NCR.
