J-K Police And Security Forces Arrest Two Terrorist Associates, Seize Arms And Ammunition

The arrested individuals have been identified as Bilal Ahmad Bhat, son of Abdul Salam Bhat, and Mohd Ismail Bhat, son of Ghulam Mohammad Bhat, both residents of Thokerpora, Qaimoh.

Jammu and Kashmir Police, in collaboration with the Army and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), successfully apprehended two terrorist associates on Thursday. The arrests took place during a routine checkpoint inspection at Matalhama Chowk in Thokerpora, Qaimoh.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Bilal Ahmad Bhat, son of Abdul Salam Bhat, and Mohd Ismail Bhat, son of Ghulam Mohammad Bhat, both residents of Thokerpora, Qaimoh. Authorities reported that during the search, security forces recovered a cache of arms and ammunition from their possession, including two pistols, 25 rounds of pistol ammunition, and two pistol magazines.

A case has been registered under FIR No. 29/2025 at Police Station Qaimoh, and an investigation into the matter has commenced to uncover further details regarding their affiliations and activities.

Joint Operation By Kupwara Police And Indian Army Uncovers Terrorist Hideout In North Kashmir

In another anti terrorist operation, Kupwara Police, in collaboration with the Indian Army, busted a terrorist hideout in the Machil area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district. A large cache of arms and ammunition was recovered, including five AK-series rifles, Pistol, and AK ammunition.

The operation was launched following specific intelligence inputs. Security forces are continuing combing operations in the area to rule out the presence of any additional threats.
