Power Shutdown In Over 40 Areas In Chennai For Maintenance Work On Thursday: TANGEDCO

TANGEDCO has announced a scheduled power shutdown in Chennai today from 9 AM to 2 PM for maintenance work.

Electricity supply will be affected in multiple areas in Chennai on Thursday, said the Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Limited (TANGEDCO).The power cut will impact key areas in the city of Temples from 9 am to 2 pm, according to TNPDCL.

According to officials, the maintenance work is going on, which affects the supply in more than 40 areas, including Porur, East Mogappair, and Redhills.

Iyyappanthangal, RR Nagar, Kattupakkam, Pushpa Nagar, Venugopal Nagar, Annai Indira Nagar, part of Valasaravakkam, Porur Garden Phase 1,2, Ramasamy Nagar, Urban Tree, Part of Arcot Road, MM Estate, GK Estate, Chinna Porur, Part of Vanagaram, Baraniputhur, Karambakkam, Samayapuram, Ponni Nagar, Chettiyar Agaram, Part of Poonamallee Road, Periya Kolathuvancheri, Maduram Nagar, Thelliaragaram.
