Characters like Saurabh Rajput, Sahil Shukla, and Muskaan Rastogi from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, seem to have counterparts in the Dilip Yadav murder case from Uttar Pradesh’s Auraiya . Although the circumstances of the murders differ, the eerie similarity in the key figures stands out.
Auraiya Was Also In News For The Same Pattern Of Murder
A newly married woman in Uttar Pradesh’s Auraiya orchestrated her husband’s murder with the help of her lover and is now under arrest. Pragati Yadav, who married Dilip Yadav on March 5, allegedly hired Nagar for ₹2 lakh to carry out the killing.
On March 19, Nagar lured Dilip to a field in Palia village on his motorcycle, pretending it was for work. Three days later, Dilip succumbed to his injuries. CCTV footage captured Nagar taking Dilip to the murder site, and during interrogation, he confessed to the crime.
Rohtak And Meerut
In Meerut, a wife, with the help of her lover, killed her husband and disposed of his body. In contrast, in Rohtak, the husband murdered his wife’s lover, disposed of the body, and, with the help of his friends, buried his wife alive in a seven-foot-deep pit.
Jagdeep, the deceased, was a yoga teacher at Baba Mastnath University in Rohtak. The accused kidnapped him and buried him alive in a seven-foot-deep pit in Pantavas village, Charkhi Dadri, 61 km from Rohtak. Jagdeep’s family filed a missing person report 10 days after the kidnapping, but despite searching for three months, the police found no leads. On March 24, authorities discovered his body after a foul smell started emanating from the pit. The investigation uncovered Jagdeep’s illicit relationships, and by connecting the dots, the police arrested two suspects for his murder.
Man Murdered By Wife And Mother-in-Law In Bengaluru
In yet another shocking incident, a 37-year-old real estate businessman was allegedly murdered by his wife and mother-in-law in Bengaluru last week. According to the police, the crime stemmed from tensions over his alleged multiple extramarital affairs and illegal business dealings. The two accused have been arrested. The incident came to light when Loknath Singh’s body was found by a few people in an abandoned car. The car was in a deserted area of Chikkabanavara on Saturday.
The police said that a preliminary probe into the crime revealed the accused initially spiked the man’s food with sleeping pills in a bid to make him feel drowsy. They then drove him to a secluded spot where they slit his throat with a knife before fleeing.
Police also attributed the killing to the victim’s alleged extramarital affairs and illegal business transactions.
