The route between Noida and Greater Noida is being improved through a significant road enhancement project. The building of the approach road to the Haranandi Bridge will greatly reduce the amount of time travelers will have to spend going from LG Chowk in Greater Noida to the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway.
Previously, travelers would have had to take a 16-kilometer route; however, with the road completed, the trip will only take five minutes. The project began construction on February 8 and is expected to take until August. Better Roads for a Better Trip The link road is to be 2,090 meters long and 60 meters wide to connect LG Chowk to the expressway.
An important element of this project is the Haranandi Bridge currently being built by the Setu Corporation. Project is a joint initiative from both the Noida and Greater Noida authorities. Out of the total 1,070 meters of the approach road, both authorities together will be developing 623 meters. This is an important landmark in the area’s infrastructure project improvement.
Investment And Key Features
The total investment is Rs 147 crore, of which Rs 62 crore is earmarked exclusively for constructing the bridge, which will have a length of 210 meters. The project was accelerated when Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the project on January 25, 2019, endorsing the project and the state government’s approach toward better road infrastructure and improvement of travel time for residents in and around Noida and Greater Noida.
Benefits For Travelers
Upon completion the new road will provide significant relief for commuters. The shorter travel route will cut down a considerable amount of time in commuting between Noida and Greater Noida. Travelers from Delhi and Noida onto the expressway who would otherwise travel to their destination, which would include areas such as Pari Chowk, LG Chowk, Collectorate, Surajpur will do so at a faster and smoother pace in addition to the approach road having varying heights ranging from 5.50 meters to 8.50 meters for better accessibility.

Upon completion it will not only facilitate faster movement between the two areas, but will promote regional and community growth and development as well.
