UP: Man Urinates On Woman After Failed Rape Attempt

The man also gave death threats to her and fled from the spot. Upon receiving a complaint from the victim, the police have registered a case against the man.

In a shocking incident, a man allegedly attempted to rape a Dalit woman and, after failing, urinated on her face. The incident took place in Uttar Pradesh’s Barabanki.

The man also gave death threats to her and fled from the spot. Upon receiving a complaint from the victim, the police have registered a case against the man.

According to livehindustan, the woman is living with her two-year-old kid and in-laws. The woman’s husband is working in Surat.

Accused barged into woman’s house

On June 10, when her in-laws had gone to meet their relative, the accused barged into her house and took her into his clutches. The woman alleged when she resisted his act, he attempted to rape her and, tore her clothes.  The man also threatened to kill her daughter. The accused has been identified as Abhinav Verma.

Man urinated on her

After the woman’s strong resistance, the accused urinated on her face, gave death threats to her, and left her residence. The woman stated in her complaint that there is a threat to her life.

The police have launched a probe into the matter.

Delhi HC granted police protection to inter-religious couple

In a separate incident, the Delhi High Court directed the Police to provide complete protection to a man and his wife who got married recently.

The girl converted to Hinduism and married the man. Directions have been issued to the police in the area where the couple lives.

Directions have been issued to the police in the area where the couple resides after the duo filed a petition seeking protection. However, none appeared before the court.

Justice Girish Kathpalia was dealing with the petition on Friday. He noted that None appears for petitioners.
