VIDEO | Jammu-Kashmir: Top LeT Terrorist Commander’s House Razed In Shopian

Jammu and Kashmir authorities destroyed the house of a top Lashkar Terrorist Commander, Shahid Ahmad Kuttay, in Chotipora, Shopian. Shahid has been actively involved in many anti-national activities for the last three to four years. Meanwhile, the authorities also razed the house of an active terrorist, Zahid Ahmed of Matalhama Kulgam, during the previous night.

In a decisive move against terrorism in Kashmir Valley, authorities have demolished three residential houses linked to active terrorists after the recent Pahalgam attack. The demolitions took place on Saturday across the districts of Pulwama, Kulgam, and Shopian.

According to official sources, the house of Ehsan Ul Haq Sheikh, a terrorist from Muran Pulwama, was demolished late Friday night. Sheikh is believed to have played a role in several terrorist incidents, prompting swift action from the authorities.

In Kulgam, the residence of Zakir Ahmad Gania, an active terrorist since 2023, was destroyed using explosives in the Matalhama area. Similarly, in Shopian, the house of Shahid Ahmad Kutay, who has been active since 2002, was also targeted and demolished in Chotipora.

This operation follows the demolition of two additional houses belonging to terrorists Asif Ahmad Sheikh from Tral and Adil Thoker from Bijbhera, whose connections to the Pahalgam attack had recently come to light. Notably, the ongoing efforts by security forces aim to dismantle the infrastructure supporting terrorism in the Valley and restore complete peace and security in Kashmir.
