Ayush Mahtre’s Career Road To CSK’s Camp
Ayush’s relatives live in simple residential areas located in Virar, Mumbai. Despite of having limited resources Mahtre’s childhood dream of becoming a batsman did not leave his mind and with his family’s backing his dream he was able to became the youngest player to score 150+ runs in men’s List A cricket, surpassing the previous record set by Yashasvi Jaiswal. The inspiration from the streets of Virar led him to the Dilip Vengsarkar Academy in Mumbai. Although Ayush Mhatre’s IPL team is based in Chennai, the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai is likely to be the venue for his T20 debut.

As CSK is scheduled to play their todays against MI and the CSK’s head coach Stephen Fleming has indicated that the young players will get opportunities in upcoming matches.
