Rahul Dravid Inspects Pitch On Wheelchair

Dravid was seen for Rajasthan Royals’ IPL 2025 match against Chennai Super Kings at Guwahati on Sunday. He had been out due to a leg injury he had picked up in a local match in Bengaluru prior to the tournament and was seen checking the pitch from his wheelchair. This stunned former players Ambati Rayudu and Sanjay Manjrekar alike, while speaking about the pre-match show on JioHotstar.

Ambati Rayudu took a cheeky dig on Dravid following which he received a sharp response from Sanjay Manjrekar where he lauded Rahul Dravid’s commitment.

 “My attention is going to the wheelchair. Is he allowed in square?” said Ambati Rayudu

Sanjay Manjrekar’s Response

“The way Ambati’s brain works, very few are like that. That’s why his batting was different. This is Rahul Dravid. If he has given his commitment, he will do it whatever happens, because he is a very good friend of mine and you won’t find a better person than him,” concluded Manjrekar.
