India’s record has been pretty average at Lords and the team has played a total of 19 Test matches out of which India has lost 12 and only won 3 Tests with 4 matches ending in draw.

Despite the poor record India won the last two Test matches which brings in hope for a new dawn and with Shubman Gill already conquering Birmingham the expectations are now set high for the 3rd Test.

In the 2nd Test India showed their dominance despite being a young squad with less experience, the players kept all the England players on their toes. Shubman Gill scored 269 runs in 1st innings and 161 runs in 2nd innings. While Akashdeep and Mohammed Siraj wrecked havoc while bowling and ensured the England’s batting lineup was left struggling. Now with the strong momentum India will be looking forward to aggressive play in the third Test and defeat England at the iconic venue.
