Even After Smashing A Century, Rishabh Pant Might Be Blamed If India Loses The First Test Match Against England! Know Why

India's wicketkeeper batter Rishabh Pant, who displayed his potential by slashing a blistering century on day 2 of the first Test match in Leeds

India’s wicketkeeper batter Rishabh Pant, who displayed his potential by slashing a blistering century on day 2 of the first Test match in Leeds during the India tour of England, dropped an easy catch of England’s star batter and world number 2 batter in the longest format of the game, Harry Brook on day 3. Rishabh Pant dropped Harry Brook when he was playing on 46 runs, nearing a potential half century. The incident took place on the first ball of the 71st over, with India’s ace all-rounder, Ravindra Jadeja, coming into the attack with the ball. What Really Happened?

On the first ball of the 71st over, Rishabh Pant dropped a crucial catch, giving Harry Brook a lifeline on 46 runs. Ravindra Jadeja bowled a flighted delivery that spun away sharply, catching the upper part of Brook’s bat as he tried to defend on the front foot. In his 41 innings, Brook has already struck 8 centuries and 11 fifties with the best deal of flair. Rishabh Pant Slams Century

On the 2nd day of the First Test, Rishabh Pant scored a breathtaking Test hundred at Leeds. It was the 7th Test ton of Pant and the 4th against England, revealing his ability to play against the top cricketing nations. Pant has bested MS Dhoni, who was also the former captain of the Indian cricket team, in terms of the most Indian wicket-keeper batter who has scored hundreds in Test matches. Pant also joined the exclusive club of wicketkeepers on day 3 by taking the 150th Test catch as wicketkeeper batter after MS Dhoni and Syed Kirmani.
