What Really Happened?
On the first ball of the 71st over, Rishabh Pant dropped a crucial catch, giving Harry Brook a lifeline on 46 runs. Ravindra Jadeja bowled a flighted delivery that spun away sharply, catching the upper part of Brookâs bat as he tried to defend on the front foot. The ball bounced more than expected, forcing Pant to reach high, but he couldnât hold on to it. The edge was clear, but the chance went down, possibly costing India an important wicket at a key moment.
