Marsh Creates Havoc with the Bat

After losing the toss and being put in to bat first, LSG got off to a solid start with openers Mitchell Marsh and Aiden Markram. The duo added 91 runs for the first wicket in just 9.5 overs. Marsh took a more aggressive approach, reaching his half-century in just 23 balls. After Markram was dismissed for 36, Marsh found a reliable partner in Nicholas Pooran.

Marsh continued to dominate and reached his century in 56 balls, featuring 10 boundaries and 6 towering sixes. It was a knock full of intent and clean hitting, lighting up the Ahmedabad crowd.

25 Runs Off Rashid Khan’s Over

One of the most explosive moments of Marsh’s innings came in the 12th over, where he targeted Gujarat’s ace spinner Rashid Khan. Marsh launched the over with a massive six, followed by a powerful four off the second delivery. He sent the third ball into the stands again, and continued with another four off the fourth. On the fifth ball, he struck yet another boundary, accumulating a total of 25 runs in the over.
