The incident happened in the 44th over of India’s second innings off Mitchell Marsh’s bowling. Jaiswal played a shot and tried to steal a single but Labuschagne who was fielding at Point, quickly got to the ball and tried to scare the Indian batter in an attempt to run him out. Jaiswal rushed back towards the batting crease but stopped inches before it, luring Labuschagne to run him out. A hilarious banter unfolded and both players enjoyed the light moment.

How Day 2 went in Team India’s favour
Team India completely dominated Day 2 as they bowled Australia out for just 104 runs in the hosts’ first innings and gained a lead of 46 runs. At the start of the day, fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah dismissed Alex Carey to restrain Australia at 70/8. Five overs later, Harshit Rana picked the wicket of Nathan Lyon and the hosts were 79/9. Josh Hazlewood and Mitchell Starc stitched a 25-run partnership to take their team total beyond 100 runs.
In the second innings, Team India has scored 172 runs with all 10 wickets intact. At the end of Day 2, India opener Yashasvi Jaiswal is unbeaten at 90 off 193 balls while his counterpart KL Rahul is 62 not out. India’s lead has surged to 218 runs and they are in complete control in the ongoing Test.
