Will He Play Against RCB?

Mumbai Indians’ next match will be against RCB on 7th April. Reports suggest that Bumrah could make his season debut in this match. His return will undoubtedly strengthen the team’s bowling. However, Bumrah, who is coming back from a back injury, will need to take extra care of his fitness.

Injury During the Australia Tour

Bumrah suffered a back injury during the last Test of the Border-Gavaskar series in Australia. He performed excellently during the series and was named Player of the Series. Since then, he has been working hard at the NCA to make his comeback. After 3 months, Bumrah will once again be seen in cricketing action. Due to the injury, he was unable to join Team India’s squad for the Champions Trophy.

Jasprit Bumrah made his IPL debut in 2013 and has been a key player for Mumbai Indians since the beginning. He has played 133 matches for the franchise so far, taking 165 wickets with an excellent economy rate of 7.30. Last season, he took 20 wickets in 13 matches for MI.
