The postponed Neeraj Chopra Classic 2025 will bring in a classy pool of javelin throwers in Bengaluru on July 5. The NC Classic was initially scheduled to be on May 24, then postponed to July 5 due to the India vs Pakistan cross-border tensions. Arshad Nadeem, the current Olympic champion hailing from Pakistan, had refused to take part in the meet earlier. Though Tokyo 2020 gold medallist and current men’s world champion Neeraj Chopra will be the main attraction of the meet, given his name, the Indian athlete will have to contend with some of the major players of the event.
