While the 16e has a single lens 48 mp camera, as per mac rumours the camera has the same capabilities as that of the 16 series. But the new camera lacks several new camera features.
The fusion lens that has been inculcated in the new 16e camera has a 1x filed of view and a 2x zoom option. It has a no telephoto lens so there would be no other zoom options, nor is there a wide angle camera or wide angle shots and Macro Images. Since the phone only has a single lens, there’s also no functionality for spatial imaging and video capture.
It offers the same true tone flash , Photonic engine, Deep Fusion and Smart Hdr 5 options, But it does not support next generation focus control.
Beyond the features that have been mentioned above the users would have the ability to adjust focus after they take a image. But the 16 e would not offer any functionalities to change the subject of the photo like there has been on the iPhone 16.
Lack Of Photographic Styles
The Photographic styles that Apple features would also be only available with 16,16 pro and pro max models. The iPhone 16 models released in earlier helps the user to set an overall look for the images captured. But such functionalities would be missing on the 16e.
The Phone would further miss some of the other video capturing features, including cinematic mode and action mode. The Audio Mix feature is also supported with the new phone 16e.
The 16 as well as 16e would have the same front camera without the functionalities of cinematic mode, Photographic styles and Depth Control for Portrait Modes.
