A new report based on internal testing results from Apple has revealed that only 60% of the total users who would buy the iPhone 17 air would be able to use it for a full day( finding based on user profiling based on usage). Users with a heavy usage would need a re-charge sooner to ensure that the phone lasts the whole day. The report further revealed that the reduced battery life was due to iPhone 17’s ultra thin 5.5 mm design which makes it one of the slimmest phones ever.
Since Apple wants to ensure that the phone is able to record formidable sales they have plans to equip the phone with a specialty battery case as an optional accessory for the iPhone Air. Apple had followed a similar pursuit with the iPhone 11 line up – the battery cases would be able to give the phones a significant boost while protecting them from kicks and bumps as well.
The report further revealed, that Apple is dubious about the kind of sales the phone would receive. The suppliers are only dictating about 10% production capacity for the iPhone 17 series to the iPhone Air- the report revealed. The Apple iPhone 17 air would have a single speaker and a single camera and no sim card slot. The phone is expected to launch in September.
Previous Leaks About The Type C Relocation
A recent update conveyed through the dummy models has revealed that Apple has made subtle updates to the phone to ensure that it can fit the superior processor of the 17 series in the tighter chassis of the phone. A new change that would soon become the most talked about difference would be the USB-C port on the bottom that would no longer be centered front to back- instead the dummy phones have revealed that it has been shifted to the rear of the device, an effort that has been executed to accommodate the display components in the tighter chassis.
