Apple Macbook With The M4 Chip Or Windows i7 Gaming Laptop? Which One Should You Pick ?

Apple has launched the new Macbook M4 models , but the age old question still persists, should you go for a Mac or a Windows Gaming Laptop?. The M4 Macbook models now get the latest M4 chip, which was introduced last year on the iMac and the iMac mini. The chip is renowned for its 10 CPU cores and either 8 or 10 GPU cores depending upon the configuration you choose. As per the benign claims by Apple the new chip is 1.6x faster than that of the older chip in functions such as Excel, 2x faster in iMovie, and 2x faster in performance in Adobe Photoshop compared to that of the older M1 models. 

Beyond these features the new chip also allows the Macbook to have several new functionalities such as improved external display support. The M4 Macbook is able to support up to two 6k external displays at 60 Hz compared to that of just one, which was the functionality of the old gen models. 

New Added Colours 

 The new mac book also comes in a new colour now called the sky blue. This new shade is a metallic sky blue with an enigmatic gradient effect that changes when the light reflects upon its clamshell surface. Beyond that, you would get the usual choices, which are the existing midnight, Starlight, and Silver Colour options.

New Camera Module 

Lastly, the new Macbook also offers a new camera, an updated 12 mp center stage camera, which was previously found on the Macbook pro models. The camera has the capability to output higher resolution images while maintaining 1080p video capture. The ultra-wide focal length that the new camera provides enables the further presence of a center stage feature. This feature would allow you to move about while staying in the focus are of the camera. Other new additions include a desk view feature, which would capture both yourself as well as a corrected perspective view of your desk below. 

Apart from the changes that have been mentioned till now, the new Macbook is similar to the older gen in all the other aspects. It features the same basic design and dimensions, display, keyboard, and trackpad. The new models have a slightly larger 53.8-watt battery compared to that of the 52.6 unit one.

Prices For the 15 inch version 

256 GB SSD Storage + 10core GPU+ 16Gb RAM- Rs 1,24,900, 512Gb SSD Stoarge + 10 Core GPU+ 16 Gb RAM- Rs 1,44,900 and the 512Gb 24 Gb RAM version would cost Rs 1,64,900.  Prices for MAC studio start at Rs 2,14,900.

Apple’s professional softwares, such as Final Cut Pro and Studio apparatus, often make them the go-to choice for professionals who seek to create and edit. But lately, the new Intel processors have gained a profound prominence as well. With Software’s such as Blender and other Adobe suites, Apple is not the usual go-to choice for many creators who seek a much more varied and open platform for overall learning. And beyond all the other uses, if you are a gamer, then Apple clearly lacks the support and, beyond that, the compatibility with handheld control modules further plagues the gaming experience on Macs. But as per a report by IGN, the homegrown chips that are used on Mac are often optimized for better performance; hence, they often put a much less significant drain on a full battery charge than AMD or other chips.
