Apple is set to commence its annual worldwide Developers Conference today with a keynote address scheduled for 10:30 PM. The WWDC platform is often used by Apple to showcase its newest software updates and novel consumer features that have emanated from its years worth of research and development. The Event rarely includes any news regarding Hardware updates that the company has been working on. While there had been rumors about the launch of the new iPhone in the event, Apple has showcased no impetus for phone launch. The new generation of the iPhone would possibly launch in September this year.
Here’s what all you can expect from WWDC 2025,We have lined up all the expected new announcements from the WWDC 2025 Event. Readers can can catch all the updates live on Apple’s Own YouTube Channel.
What To Expect As Per The Rumor’s!
One of the biggest announcements from the event would be the launch of the all new iOS. Instead of naming the new iOS the iOS 19 Apple would skip ahead and name their new iOS update the iOS 26. Apple is going to revise the aesthetics of their applications significantly to ensure that it doesn’t look like dated compared to android updates. The new visual elements would now become more consistent across different devices such as the Vision Pro, Apple Watch , iPad and More.
Beyond the aesthetics, Apple would be expanding its line up by launching an all pre installed gaming application on their devices. Last year at WWDC 2024 Apple unveiled its all new Apple intelligence – a suite of Ai features and announced a revamped Siri Powered Chat Gpt. However the rollout has been rather sluggish, the features were limited. Apple has stated that it needs more development and testing before the release of the new platform.
Hence a new Siri update would be hard to come by in the event, but that does not mean that the WWDC 2025 would be without its share of Ai tools, as the company is expected to make developer focused Ai tools, features and Integrations. It’s Possible that Apple might unveil an all new Ai powered Tracker designed to help extend an iPhones battery life.
New Updates iOS 26
The Inside name for the redesign of the Apple’s new iOS 26 look has been Solarium, going by the name it’s apparent that the new iOS 26 would focus on new aesthetics with a more translucent, glass inspired aesthetic that is loosely based on Vision OS.
This would be similar to the Vision Pro OS which had translucent backgrounds to ensure that the users could easily see the surroundings in Air and Vr. The Translucency that allowed the Vision OS to dissolve into the background would now be brought to iPhones, iPad’s and other products as well. Beyond that Apple would also be working on Design language in iOS 26, Apple is streamlining navigation between menu’s buttons and navigation to ensure that the operating system is simpler to learn and navigate.
Apple Intelligence Features
Apple would possibly be launching a slew of Apple Intelligence updates, while the launches are not confirmed here are a few new features that could be a part of the event
Ai Battery management
An Ai powered battery management tool that would actively record and analyze data to optimize battery use. The new feature would allow the user to limit the power draw a certain app has beyond that also change other parameters to ensure that the phone has enough battery to last a full day of use.
Leaks and industry news have iterated that either Apple would be launching the all new battery management suite today or it would launch it later when the all new iPhone air is launched. The smaller battery of the iPhone 17 air would possibly help the phone last longer with ease.
Google Gemini
Mac Rumours have revealed that Apple and Google are close to establishing a deal that would add Google Gemini to the iPhone as an alternative to Chat Gpt. That feature we would likely see on iOS26. Gemini would integrate with Siri like Chat Gpt. It’s Possible that Apple Might not announce the integration with Gemini until its fully worked out. So this feature might not possibly be launched at WWDC.
