OpenAI announces to roll out ChatGPT Search to all free users, starting Tuesday (IST). Moreover, all logged-in users on this AI system can now experience a faster and smarter way to search the web, now available worldwide on mobile apps, and desktop apps.

“🌐ChatGPT search 🌐is starting to roll out to all Free users today. Search the web in a faster, better way—available globally on http://chatgpt.com and our mobile and desktop apps for all logged-in users,” announced OpenAI on social media platform ‘X’.

OpenAI has announced few more steps as well. Furthermore, OpenAI will launch a major upgrade, integrating Search with Advanced Voice capabilities in AI system, and complete the rollout within the next week. Meanwhile, with the advanced voice feature on ChatGPT, you can easily access information by simply asking questions in a voice conversation with ChatGPT. Users can just head to ChatGPT’s advanced voice feature and ask the question.

Additionally, by setting this AI system as your browser’s default search engine, you’ll experience a significant speed boost, getting you to your desired web destinations much faster, announced OpenAI on ‘X’. “When you use ChatGPT as the default search engine in your browser, we’ve made it faster to get to where you want to go on the web,” read the post on ‘X’.

In addition, OpenAI is enhancing ChatGPT on mobile apps by integrating maps. This will enable users to search for and discuss local eateries and businesses with the most current information. “We’re also adding maps to ChatGPT in our mobile apps, so you can search for and chat about local restaurants and businesses with up-to-date information,” announced OpenAI on ‘X’.
