A latest report by tipster Majin Bu claims that the iPhone 17 Pro series is getting a new colour option – Sky Blue. Apple had introduced the iPhone 13 Pro series in Sierra Blue in 2021. Since then, the tech giant has not released the iPhone Pro device in a light blue shade.

iPhone 17 Air: Fresh Dummy Models Leaked

The iPhone 17 Air, said to be the thinnest iPhone yet’ is likely to be launched later this year alongside the other iPhone 17 series models. Images of dummy models, cases, and designs emerged recently. And now, Hilsenteger has revealed fresh dummy models, providing a better sneak peek into the thinness of the upcoming iPhone 17 Air.

The iPhone 17 Air is expected to be Apple’s thinnest iPhone yet, measuring just 5.5 mm in thickness. The iPhone 17 Air and other iPhone 17 models will be significantly different as the iPhone 17 Pro models are said to be around 8.725 mm thick.

The thinness left Hilsenteger impressed, however, he wondered whether its minimal casing would cause it to bend. Apple is rumoured to use a titanium and aluminium body for the iPhone to ensure it does not bend. Apple faced “Bendgate” in 2014 after some users noticed the iPhone 6 Plus bending in their pockets. Apple also chose a 6.6-inch display to avoid the risk of the iPhone 17 Air bending, which could happen with a larger screen.

However, Hilsenteger questioned the iPhone 17 Air’s battery life due to its thin design. But Apple is removing features like extra camera lenses to make more space for the battery. The company will use a more efficient in-house C1 modem and will optimize battery life using software.
