As per the most recent rumours, Apple has been working on a foldable iPad Pro, But beyond that a new rumour has suggested that Apple might be working on another Prototype, a device that has a under- display face id technology.
As per Weibo-based leaker – Digital Chat Station one of the prototypes that has been developed by Apple features an 18.8-inch foldable screen, that also has a metal superstructure lens that would integrate the receiver and transmitter Components of Face ID for under-display facial recognition. While there had been strong rumors that the brand would soon be launching a foldable iPhone but whether this new innovation be added to the iPhone as well or not is still a mystery.
There had been various previous rumor’s about under the display face id recognition sensors before its appearance on a foldable device prototype. This new innovation would have further increased the hardships for engineers who ae working to engineer the phone on a smaller folding chassis.
New Leaks
As per a recent leak by Display Supply Chain Consultants , Apple has been planning to launch an 18.8 inch foldable iPad Pro with an OLED display in 2027. Supply chain analyst Ming Chi-Kuo claimed that LG aims to land the mass production of display panels for a Macbook with a 20.2 inch or a 18..8 inch foldable screen in the fourth quarter.
A previous report that was published by the Wall Street Journal also indicated that Apple has been working on a new larger foldable device that is intended to be used similarly to that of a Laptop. Beyond the Laptop like device, a recent leak by Mark Gruman suggests that Apple has been planning a bunch of new innovative designs that would reduce the overall appearance of creases on the screen.
A bunch of other rumors have been suggesting different prospects of new launches. But as per the leaks devices such as Apple 17 and 17 Air would be launched in the upcoming years.
