Samsung has unveiled the all-new Galaxy S25 Edge in a live event on their YouTube channel. The Brand boisterously spoke about the innovations in the camera department, heat dissipation channels, and battery segment that have enabled them to be able to channel their flagship features in a phone that is only 5.88mm thick and weighs only 163 GMs. Samsung has revealed that the phone would be powered by the Octa Core 4.47GHz, 3.5GHz Customised Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.
The screen would be a 6.5-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display that has a 120Hz refresh rate and 16M colour depth. Samsung spoke relentlessly about how they had to engineer a new camera housing to ensure that the flagship cameras could be fitted into a tighter chassis. The rear camera on the phone is a 200.0 MP+12.0 MP unit with 2X optical Zoom, and Digital Zoom up to 10X. The front-facing camera unit would be a 12MP unit.

Storage and Memory
The Phone would be available with 12 GB of RAM with 512 GB of Internal storage. A 256 GB variant was also rumoured about, but on the official pre-order landing page, only the 512 gb variant is visible. Users would get a dual SIM functionality. USB Type-C interface connectivity along with Bluetooth V5.4 for better music streaming across platforms.

Samsung’s Slimmest Phone Yet
Samsung has revealed that this would be their slimmest phone yet. They have laboured intensively towards a chassis and a Titanium frame that could incorporate the best flagship features without skimping on any usability. As per Samsung, the phone reflects a seamless blend of form and function. To further increase its usability, the company has partnered with Google to give the phone a host of new AI features that would make your life much easier. To ensure rigidity and strength, Samsung has equipped the phone with a new ceramic glass 2, a special glass crafted for the EDGE by Corning.
The Biggest Demerit
Samsung has revealed that the phone would have a 3900mAh battery; they have not revealed the kind of charging apparatus that the phone would be equipped with. GSM arena has revealed that the phone would have a 25W wired charging apparatus only. With the charging capabilities reaching a final stage of 75W, 100W limit, would a Puny 25W charger suffice? and beyond that, with the likes of iQOO Z10 offering a 7000 mAh battery, woulda 3900 mAh battery be able to suffice a day’s worth of use? Especially with the AMOLED display and Snapdragon Elite 8 chipset. The battery could possibly be a bottleneck for its performance. You can prebook the phone at $1,099 in international markets. The Indian spec availability and prices would probably be revealed later.
