Samsung has gained a spot in the limelight yet again, but this time not to due to a new launch, rather because the brand has been able to pass a test no one would have believed it could. in a recent update a user dropped his phone in the Sub zero waters for a sometime before rescuing it. While we believe that the test could have rendered the phone useless, the test left the phone in a state that has left us shocked as well.
Mikael Krekula, a professional wilderness expert from Kiruna Sweden was testing his sonar equipment when his phone dropped into the ice fishing hole. The Device plunged into the hole below the surface. It was a while before Mikael attempted a recovery for the phone and drilled numerous holes within the top surface of the ice to possibly reach the phone. Mikael further used a fishing net to fetch the phone out of the cold water. Even after withstanding the sub zero temperature for a while the phone switched on immediately and displayed three missed calls.
A Natural Mistake Showcases The Galaxy’s Robust Build
A While the stunt was a natural occurrence it has been able to showcase the resilience of Samsung flagships towards cold temperature and water.
