After the recent launch of the Galaxy S25 Edge, Samsung has now moved on to work on its new tri-fold handset that would utilize Titanium as per a slew of recent reports. Titanium is widely renowned for its lightweight structure and strength. To ensure that the TriFold phones are able to easily withstand extensive use and do not succumb to fatigue in the long run. Samsung has significant plans to equip their Galaxy Z Fold 7 as well as the first TriFold phone with Titanium.
The New leak has been revealed by The Elec, a Korean Outlet. the use of titanium to attain high strength without any significant changes in the weight has been a trick smartphone manufacturers have used plenty of times. Before Samsung, Apple had used Titanium mix alloys for the frame of their older phones, but this time around Apple would seemingly step back to Aluminum with the iPhone 17. Apart from Apple, several Chinese manufacturers have used Titanium to attain high strength in their mobile phones.
New Z Fold 7 Release Date
The New Samsung Z fold release date is expected to arrive early in July, the phone will be launched during a live event that would take place in New York. Based on rumors, Samsung’s Trifold can be launched during that time as well.
Samsung New Innovations
New leaks have further revealed that Samsung wouldn’t be using Titanium in the usual way manufacturers do. Rathe,r it would equip their phones with a Titanium Backplate and on the outer portion of the phone. The back panel here stands for the integral component that supports the hinge and the foldable panel.
Samsung’s Use Of Carbon Fiber and Stainless Steel in The past.
Samsung has had a history of using high tensile back panels, the backplate on Galaxy Fold, Galaxy Fold 2 was all stainless steel. After that Samsung moved to Carbon Fiber. The report also revealed that the new Galaxy Z Fold 7 would not include a S-pen digitizer as well.
