A video showing a Bihar school teacher getting brutally attacked by the student’s family is going viral on social media. In the clip, the teacher, identified as Rakesh Ranjan Srivastava, was severely injured, following which he was rushed to the hospital for treatment. According to reports, the student’s parents stormed into the school and physically assaulted the tutor with sticks.
It has been learnt that Srivastava allegedly slapped their child to stop a fight that broke out between him and another Class 5 student. Upset over the incident, the boy fled the school premises and told his family about what happened. Shortly after, his parents, along with others, barged into the school and created a ruckus. They slapped him multiple times and brutally thrashed him with sticks. Although the other staff members attempted to stop them, the boys’ parents responded with similar aggression.

The situation momentarily calmed down after the police arrived at the scene. Meanwhile, the teacher sustained critical injuries to his waist and hands. A complaint was later registered at the police station, and a probe was launched. Condemning the incident, the school headmaster, Pankaj Kumar, called the assault “an attack on the education system”. He also assured strict action against those involved.
